Who are these 3 chicks?

Well, there are 3 of us and we've known each other for a really long time.

Deanna:

I've got 2 kids, 1 husband and 2 cats at home.  On top of all of that, I work full time and I have an Etsy shop where I sell things I make out of paper (shameless plug): Zo-Be Designs.   I love to read, I watch way too much TV and I really do like to cook.  I've known Sharyl my whole life, cause she's my mom.  I've known Tisha just about 10 years less than that.  So yeah, a long time.  If I could only pick one kind of food to eat for the rest of my life, it would have to be Mexican food.  Although, bread and cheese make a strong argument some days.

Tisha:

I'm the chick with the least amount of cooking experience.  I met Sharyl during my high school innocence when she was creating fantabulous ice-cream cakes and I was a scooper at Baskin Robbins. Deanna and I shared a lust...er...love for Duran Duran in the '80s and we all have enjoyed food, theater and music together. I work full-time and have two dogs, a husband, and a shelf full of untested cookbooks.   I'm trying to read more, watch TV less, and learn a thing or two from our cookfests. Ready. Set. COOK!

Sharyl:

As the "senior chick" of this trio, I guess I've been cooking the longest. However, in the past few years I've lost some skills ~~so this is a way to polish up and learn new things. As Tisha said, we met at the hallowed halls of Baskin Robbins, where I decorated cakes and desserts for 7 years. My children and their pals loved that they could eat ice cream whenever they asked for it! I am married to a Scotsman and lived with him in Dundee Scotland for 10 years before we moved back over here where he became the alien for a change! It's a completely different world over there but now I am blessed to say that I have two homes. One in California and another in Scotland. I have two grown up children (will always be my "kids") and two adorable grandchildren that are my hearts delight. I am an avid reader, tv watcher, facebook follower and I also sew and quilt. What I am going to enjoy is cooking with two lovely women who also enjoy trying new things and thinking out of the box sometimes.  Now, heat your ovens and let's get started!! Spatulas at the ready!!
